What If My Pet Dies At Home?

What if my pet dies at home?

As a pet owner, making decisions about aftercare can be overwhelming. We are available to help guide you through this time. Being pet people, we sympathize with you during this time, and we’re here to help you make the best decision for you and your beloved pet.

Aftercare Services

Please stay calm and mostly, don't worry. Spend some time saying goodbye and making your pet comfortable, perhaps with their favorite blanket or toy.

Call us at 505-330-0761 24 hours a day. We will answer your questions, explain your options, and help you with timely decisions.

You may bring your pet to us. We will meet you even before or after our regular hours (11 am - 2 pm Monday - Friday) at our office at 20th and Schofield in Farmington. (no charge... ever)

Or we will come to your home and get your pet for you ($60 fee).

Care & Availability

We know this is a very difficult time, and we appreciate your trust in us to help with aftercare decisions. We offer you our sympathies and kindness as you move forward with your grieving process. The wait for your pet to be returned to you can seem agonizingly long – we understand. We are pet people, and we want you to know you can reach out to us – anytime – during this process. Within two to three days your pet will be returned home to you in the urn of your choice, or a velvet bag. Our office is quiet and comforting, and if you need time to grieve, reflect, or talk our office space is available for you.
