Our Story
In 1982 The Pet Memorial was created as a quiet division of Fur, Fin and Feather Pet Center. When Fur, Fin and Feather closed in 2013, Tom and Tammie Summers decided to continue caring for pets by keeping The Pet Memorial operating as a way for us to say goodbye to many of the pets we helped to find forever homes at the pet shop.
And now years later, we have folks tell us that the pet they are placing in our care came from us many years ago. The touching memories it brings to us gives deep satisfaction. Our commitment is to the “pets and their family of the four corners.”
Eve Lowenstein joined us in 2002 and shows the same loving, gentle commitment to pets as Tom and Tammie. Eve manages the day to day business and is always there to first meet with you and discuss our services.
We welcomed Andrea Jaquez to our memorial family in 2018. She also has a love for pets and their people. Together, the four of us are here to help you in your time of loss. We are “pet people” to the end and offer our services to all “pet people” in the four corners.
Our commitment is solely and wholly to you and your loved pets’ end of life time. The decision you make is based on the love of your pet and the trust you have in the people to help complete your decisions.
